I must admit im really not impressed with android, it's much better then mac but i really like linux and this android experience really made me appreciate my N900 more.

Or if not ubuntu on the rockchip tablet then it would be cool to put maemo or meego.....

No affiance intended.
I hadn't taken your post to be a marriage proposal, but now, I'm flattered!

Jokes aside: why not try installing Ubuntu as per the link above?

Wireless charging, coming to an Android device near you:

It seems that Qi has been partnering with many of the major handset vendors, and putting 2 and 2 together may be a hint that this tech is coming to mobile devices.

I'm game.

I'd love to see some inductive charging. Resting my device on a table and have it charge closes the wireless circuit. My motto? Transfer by SFTP charge by QI...

Thankfully, I read up in the XDA forums that this was completely bogus. Phew! I'm sure it's well within their imaginations, but right now it's not something they're doing or even seriously considering from what I read. Crisis averted. ...for now. :P

You can see it now on an electric toothbrush. I don't know what the difference is.

Actually, you'll get busybox and root in one fell swoop on a Galaxy Tab if you use z4root (which is how I did it). Check here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953

That tool will also let you UNROOT your Tab, if you should find the rediculous need to do so. You'll also be blessed with the superuser and busybox utilities.

BAM! NegatronDan delivers!

Here's a leak of the Honeycomb-esque music player for non-Honeycomb devices!

http://lifehacker.com/#!5789144/new-...etty-interface
DOWNLOADS: http://www.droid-life.com/2011/04/05...-play-3-0-336/

Use at your own risk. However it's looking good. I'm loving the Action bar along the top and the general style. Google should consider consolidating around this style. It looks very, very nice.

Also, the download link contains the new Camera/Clock/Gallery apps.

Music and Camera apps work fine on my Desire HD running Gingerbread 2.3.2

Both Gallery and Clock apps force close...
