My N900 from Dell just got marked as shipped. No tracking info yet, but the delivery date is 11/25 (I'm in Washington DC).

Seems to be a trend so far of no next-day shipping for the ones that have shipped.

your nearly 6 year too late posting that article and you did not bother to find out the outcome of filed law suite so it could be even more irrelevant if it ended up ruled in nokia's favour

just to be stated ...
Peter, ossipena ... just read this ....

The German Nokia shop showed 25th of nov. for estimated delivery till 2 or 3 hours ago and now this date disappeared ... somehow ... like ever!!!

OK, they don't lie ... it simply never happened ...

what's the excuse for that ... artificial intelligence gone wild and they just handled to fix it?

UK Related Release Information...

Just called Nokia.co.uk customer services number to check on my order. I pointed out that I still had 'Not Dispatched' as the status and I had been led to believe that it was dispatching today.

The lady on the other end of the line apologetically explained that whilst today was the 'Tentative Release Date' for the N900, they didn't have stock.

I didn't bother asking why I had been told at the end of last week that they were unpacking the stock ready for dispatch as no point in having a go at her.

So, mystery solved: The unpacking route is obviously via the Bremuda Triangle!!

Based on the regions and shipping status, there is no correlation with regions, so the only other is shipping method. Unless egrims is messing around, the people that ordered "next day business" have not been shipped, but some with two day, or free 3-5 day have.

Next day is usually pretty quick on the draw for updates, due to the movment process for expedited product and to reduce service calls from customers. This is the nature of "business" shipping, so there should not be any lag compared to the other shipping options. If anything, the slower methods would have lag of up to 12 hours. By the nature of "next day", there would be virtually no lag for updates.

If no updates by noon- this theory is correct. Looks like the shipping method may also be linked to where the product is shipping from and who received allocations. Only logical conclusion- if no updates by noon.

Yea I got the free shipping and my status hasn't changed. Still shows 12/10 and In Production, which Rushmore was saying those with next day haven't changed status.
