Thanks D-Iivil. You're a legend!

The newest update from Extras-Devel doesn't seem to work from Settings that well. I chose to use the custom transitions and Droid Sans with regular theme (e.g. Nokia Nseries) but I was greeted with blank settings for Plastic Theme Setup from reboot and thus using completely regular theme with no custom transitions. Ticking the box "Auto reboot after saving settings?" didn't work either, even when ticked and applied.

And just curious, (correct me if I'm wrong) wasn't there a plan to support custom lock screens?

Settings only applies to black plastic. Not nseries or any other theme.

Auto reboot won't do anything if you don't have anything selected for change and if you don't have Black Plastic as your active theme (or if you don't choose to activate black plastic).

That's a great release indeed!

D-livil, is that so hard to make a more clean, "whity" theme? I mean, all N900's themes are dark... sometimes too dark for my taste. A great mix of colours, for inspiration, is the gmail's default theme... white, blue, light grey...

Thanks BTW!

Alright, thanks for that. Damn though that we can't have super fast UI on other themes too (yet).

Would it be possible for you to add a square version for all the people who don't like "female" (round) buttons?

I think that would make it look a whole new theme instead of Black Plastic -series one? Will keep sharp edged buttons in mind when designing new themes

@ rantom: if you copy the transitions.ini from black plastic to your "main" hildon-folder, you'll get those snappier settings to all of your themes. Run this in terminal (rootsh must be installed):
sudo gainroot
cp -rf /usr/share/themes/blackplastictheme-themedir/transitions.tmp /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini

And then reboot.

@d-livil

is it possible that you can implement any fonts as well the black plastic theme. I try since 1-2 hours ago to cp the new font from vintc in the epic mod thread. But I have only the standard font after this couple of reboots... will be nice an cool to become some choices of fonts in your theme.. its the best theme ever..

but how about if we want to return back the default transitions to each themes. thanks in advance.

Then I suggest you to take backup of original /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini -file and restore it whenever you want
