No, the stuttering is inherent to the Itablet, and is caused by Nokia's design and budgeting stupidities.
Mind you, the first videos I played on my 770 stuttered every two seconds, so we've come a long way, in spite of Nokia.

Is this really true? - "stuttering is inherent"
(knowing that Karel has used his IT MUCH longer that I have).
Am I just not noticing any stuttering? Isn't anyone getting perfect video playback all the time, after their conversion process?

GA, I'd love to replicate exactly what you do to convert a DVD for the n800 and see whether my issue still comes up. Not sure what is in your library . . . do you have LOTR: Return of the King? If you tell me what programs & settings you use to convert that disk for the Nokia for smooth playback, I will duplicate it and see whether the issue manifests itself. If not, that would be great!
