First thing you need to get is your Bluetooth MAC address for your phone, which you can find in the tablets Bluetooth device settings. Enter that in the first line in Gnoki Gconf (which you open from the Control Panel, near the bottom).
Then select your phone model, which I'm told most non-Nokia phones get set to AT. Check the wiki page for Gnoki for the list of phones that have been tested. They list their settings, look for a Motorola and see what phone model its set to.
Finally, the rtcomm number I think is just trial and error. Select each number and tap Identify Phone until your phone gives confirmation that its connected. If gnokii crashes, reboot it and set the rfcomm to the number that worked, and press OK. When you start Phonelink the tablet and your phone should connect, assuming you have the SMS and/or phone options checked in Phonelink.

Note: Bluetooth should be turned on for both devices before using gnokii, but I don't think you need to have them paired before hand.

Yes, actually. It did the same to me and I couldn't figure it out. Turns out its just a small bug in the program. Open gnokii-gconf again, set the rfcomm number to the one that connects and disconnects the phone. Instead of tapping on Identify, click on OK.

Then open Phonelink and your good to go.
