I'm guessing its only for sending, and that you still have to read incoming messages on your phone?

Right, last thing I do believe, how do I check if my phone is compatible or not?

Nope send and receive work on the N800. That's the reason for using it, I don't have to even pick up my cell just use the tablet. That and it has a nice large finger keyboard.

Sure it's just the default I believe "AT", phone is Sony W810i. Phonelink works so well that I have decided to keep the phone and not upgrade, other than no keyboard for text is a great (small)phone.

I'm having trouble getting it to work on my Samsung SCH-U900 (Flipshot). If anybody has any ideas, it would be grealty appreciated.

Using rfcomm 8 I can get it to see my phone. The problem with this is that whenever I make a call, it shows up as a data call (Modem @ 14.4k is what it shows, with Tx and Rx, and total bit/byte information). Then when I use to send an SMS, it does not send to the recipient.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Posting this in the "phonlink" thread. Thanks.
