In some ways I was the same way. Then it became fun to play with. Then I became a little sad due to the lack of software, then I had some fun using the terminal (I like the idea of using it a little, but I truly do not want to have to open it every week thatīs a little too much)
Itīs a fabulous new device. Throughout christmas both me and my father sat on the opposite ends of a couch playing around on our N900īs. He figured out to check out his work schedule and log on to Lotus Notes on the N900, I modified his keyboard to fit our native language and it both devices ran well.

Im very much excited about getting a hands on with it, I think my trepidation is mainly down to the fact that every phone I've ever had, WInMo ect, I have instantly known why way around. Sticking apps on, modding, tweaking, its all been very natural. But I distinctly remember leaning how to do all that on WinMo, and it been ok, because it was windows.
Maemo excites me, its openness and power and tweakability, but the fact that it's literally an entirely new OS makes me feel like a complete dunce! i know NOTHING about linux!
Still, bet I could sell it and get an X2 if I truly dont 'get' it!
