I had many reboots on my new N900. Changed for a new one because they told me that there was a bad batch of mobiles. No more random reboots since I have the new device. Works great!!
I recommend you to change it.

Ugh I don't want to go through the trouble :/. About how long does it take? did you do it through Nokia or the place you bought it from?
I'm re-flashing right now, if I continue to get reboots, I'll replace it.
