thanks for the info, but there's no widget more availible in the desktop menu. I know how it works on the desktop tap empty space, tap settings icon, add widget, but fmrdsnotify is no longer in the list, also not in the shortcut list. Anybody ideas???
FMRDSNotify .0.4 is not longer availible only version 0.4.1. other wise i installed .0.4 again.

i tried to remove the two lines
Code:
[fmrdsnotify.desktop-0]
X-Desktop-File=/usr/share/applications/hildon-home/fmrdsnotify.desktop
in the file
Code:
/home/user/.config/hildon-desktop/home.plugins
to get the entry in the desktop menu back. this works but after i tap on fmrdsnotify to add it the widget won't start although i can start fmrdsnotify without errors from the shell

start xterm and type
Code:
fmrdsnotify &
. but note: you have to do this every time you reboot your device - so this is only a temporary solution.

sorry i can't tell, maybe someone else knows. it would be better to file a bug for this problem but i don't know where since i couldn't find a bugtracker for fmrdsnotify.

try assigning it to a queenbeecon widget, or even an alarmed script. ok prob wont auto run on boot but one click aint exactly a big timewaster!
