I see that Flash 10.1 has multi-touch support. I wonder how much of a problem that is for a device with no multi-touch hardware?

Adobe flash is a monopoly. Go to wikipedia and look up definition of monopoly. It fits all definitions except the money part.
My plea to just simply ask where is the beta for Maemo 5 for us to test goes unanswered.
