I don't have PR1.1 yet, but in the 2009.44 firmware this was set to '0', meaning "respond to pings".
If you see a value of '1' it means that ping responses have been intentionally disabled.
Thanks for the information... unfortunately, mine is still set to 0. Any other ideas?

I'm having the same issue with eduroam at my uni. It was working perfectly before the update, but now it refuses to connect.

My eduroam's also PEAP + MSCHAPv2 and I tried everything from creating a new connection to adding a manual user name.

Is there anyway to revert to the stock (a la before the update) wifi settings?

Well, what do you know? After updating to PR 1.1.1 aka 2010.02-8 it really does work! Thanks everybody for voting on that bug.

Are you sure the EAP method is MSCHAP? I though I had the same setup at my uni, but I decided to try other methods (EAP GTC) and it worked.

Prior to this, I had the connection created manually like advised in the previous posts, but it didn't work. So I deleted it and I connected directly to the network, as if it was the first time I was trying to access it. It worked with TTLS + EAP GTG this time.

Can someone confirm that I have the same problem as everybody else in this thread? I can not connect to the wifi at my university (Aalborg University) and the instructions to do so are like this:

http://wifi.samf.aau.dk/802.1x-vista.html
or
http://wifi.samf.aau.dk/802.1x-xp.html

If this is not the same problem can anyone then help me to connect to the wifi?
