Just a note to anyone using this. Extended Call Log v0.5 will now display the duration of the call if the end-time field is populated in the database

@Garfield007: if you want me to help, explain exactly what you did:
- which triggers.txt you used (from which post)
- the commands you used and errors which might have occured
- which firmware version you are using
- how you checked that it doesn't work

Heya ,

Triggers file from post 20.

Code from post 12 (sqlite3 -batch /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el.db < triggers.txt)

Executed and got normal prompt, no error.

Got 1.2 installed

Erased all call log. Took a call and emitted one and gone to extended call log application, but no trace of duration.

Ty for your time.

In PR1.2 the database is /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el-v1.db

so the command should probably be

sqlite3 -batch /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el-v1.db < triggers.txt

@matrim: oh correct, I didn't think of that change ^^
will mention it in my post #20

also note that the feature is new in Extended Call Log v0.5, which is in extras-devel. The version in extras and/or extras-testing does not show call duration.

yep, sqliteman can just open the el-v1.db. It is available for linux (probably in your package manager), and for mac&windows from the homepage www.sqliteman.com
