you can add anything you want there.
Yup, but I've currently been able put only full buttons there, with or without icons. Dunno about more complex widgets.

Yes, the directory is /etc/systemui , but as Bundyo says it seems to support only full button , no custom widgets.
I'm just looking for more information.

Very nice app - the only change I'd suggest is moving it to the Extras section in the Settings panel. That's where other apps (shortcutd, tweakr) seem to be installing, and it helps separate the built-in settings from those for add-ins.

Thanks for the advice. I will do it in the next release.

I like the idea. but as mentioned before: it would be nice to have it in the power menu. that way it is really a quicklaunch. now one have to minimize to desktop before its possible to access the qjuicklaunch menu. and when I'm allready on the desktop I just might use the desktop shortcuts instead.
One klick on the hardware powerbutton would do the magic for me, so I think I'll pass for now.
but none the less: great work!

Is it possible to start the app when power button is pressed and, if the device is locked, display shortcuts next to unlock "button"?

Seems to be hard(/impossible?) to put a custom widget onto the "power menu"
