In File Manager I can see the hide UA .deb swirl. When I click on it I choose to open file with app manager but the choices are uninstall, download or update. There are no other choices?

hide UA is not auto-installable. You have to save it and then install it(by browsing through file manager).

Nothing else happening. Do I need to start Easy debian again or re-install the debian image file? The reason why I ask is that I did click on close debian a few days ago. Will that make a difference?

I am also a newbie in Linux and I too have easy debian in my mobile.
If you are able to see swirl for that hide UA file, then app. manger should start automatically(you dont have to select which application to open that file).
follow these steps now,
1)delete that file
2)click this link and save the file in any other folder.

http://repository.maemo.org/extras-t....3.7_armel.deb

3)open file manager and browse through that folder and click the .deb file(swirl icon). Now, it should start the app. manager automatically, like the way how media player starts when you click on a .mp3 file.

I think that, close debian will only close the debian chroot related to the easy debian application. So forget about it.

you can use iphone's user agent string in 6th step for low quality streams.

Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5B108 Safari/525.20

thanks..

did the setup. all ok & can access the shop. couple of questions:

1. what is quality like when watching sports on the N97 agent with a good (3.5G) connection?

2. don't think I could bear to give murdoch fixed monthly cash even if quality was good - is there any PPV (pay per view, one off charge for a sports event) offered - didnMt see anything obvious?
