Mxit protocol is also not working on pidgin.
Would be nice if someone could fix it.
I have the fixed source code but i cant compile it

please try to install pidgin on a pc and create your account there. if it still crashes the problem is in your msn buddylist stored on the msn-servers.

i would love to compile some addons for pidgin too.
unfortunately the maemo sdk is crashing on my ubuntu 10.04 machine 64bit. even the workarounds don't help.

Im on windows and a total newbie, i wonder who can help us out?

I have a PC in front of me, once it's finished updating I'll install Pidgin and sign in. I strongly suspect the issue is with my buddy list.

Sorry for the slowness.

I tested my account with both version 2.7.2 and 2.6.6 of Pidgin on Vista and it doesn't seem to have crashed yet.

then try to copy the all the xmls (EXPECT of the prefs.xml) from your pc to your phone.
afterwards start pidgin and see if it works.
