NOTE:
I don't like pirating software, I paid for MM10 and Sygic promised to support MM10 on Maemo and after this didn't happen while they continue to spam my e-mail with offers related to their great SW running on Android, they've lost all my respect
This desearves a self thread I think?
Not anly they didn't supported the app but also didn't makes maps for other part of the world like southamerica for ex. ( they made them for newest maps).

navit in maemo repos is not working. you have to use the version in bokomoko repos http://wiki.navit-project.org/index.php/Maemo

then you can install the packages tapping on C button of Faster App Manager (Category filter-> all packages and type navit to find the packages) packages to be installed are: navit and libfreetype6-navit

after this you need to dowload map from http://maps5.navit-project.org/ and configure xml files

waze works very well for me (may depend on your location -- I've used it without issue both in Israel and in the USA). See the t.m.o thread about waze.

Wowwwww I ask about GPS and I got tons of them to look at. I have looked at Modrana and it looks good. The voice sounds like a computer voice---but I could get used to that. I will try the others and see how they work.

Its funny because I have been to the app menu tons of times and didn't realize they were GPS apps.

Thanks,
Bobby

It does because it is Computer generated voice by espeak. Try this in the terminal:
Code:
espeak "A quick brown fox jumped over a lazy dog."
