It has been confirmed that the US Asus Eee Transformer does in fact have GPS built in:
http://www.androidcentral.com/yes-as...-united-states
After a rather uninformed post on Engadget, the state of GPS in the Transformer was unknown. It has been confirmed to be included.
This would have been a major flaw of the system, but its a very welcome feature. Now the question remains. Asus Eee Transformer or Lenovo Thinkpad (with pen and a plethora of ports).

This is actually a particularly big deal to me. I won't buy an Android device without GPS (with the exception of that Nook Color just because it's so damned hackable and inexpensive). I've been watching and considering other tablets... and watching... and watching... and passing over them MOSTLY because they were wifi-only with NO GPS. I *LIKE* wifi-only... I DISLIKE no-GPS.

It seems as though Nvidia is aggressively trying to make good with their claim. The first Tegra 3 devices are rumored to ship this August:

I know it was a few pages back but isn't this a big deal? I decided to hold my next tablet purchase until Honeycomb is finalised and supported.
So if I wait only a month or two longer I will also get Tegra3 (twice the power of Tegra2 ?)
Asus and others have already said they are delaying the launch of their tablets pending Honeycomb so I suspect they are in a bit of bind now with the real fear of an 'Osborne effect'

The third Galaxy S II commercial has been released:

Again, the phone is woken by 'Hi Galaxy'. Interesting...

This seems to be the *only* modern (mobile SoC) tablet that has an active digitizer. All of the other ones rely on touch input or 'capacitive' stylii.
I really applaud HTC for moving on this, though I would like to see more manufacturers follow suit. The Tab 8.9 with pen would be so killer...
It seems that I'm not the only one that thinks a pen with a slate is a good idea... Check this out:
Lenovo is releasing a 10.1" Honeycomb slate with active pen: The ThinkPad:
