Folks, when I worked for IBM, we did the same thing sometimes. We would announce the product is shipping, but we really meant that the product has been cleared as final rev product to ship. This can mean seven days before one product actually shipped to our sell-in customers- then the time for them to ship to consumers.

My pre-order at expansys changed from expected in 2 days to 16 days !!

Thanks means end of November for someone whoe pre-ordered in September!!

I'll agree with you in part, I shouldn't have believed in a CS Rep who gave me the impression that he "knew" the release/shipping date. But Customer Service should be a way for customer retention not sales. And I feel that NewEgg's Customer Service has not been what it was.

Back to the subject I'm trying to talk with one last guy at NewEgg, one of their community website CS admins. He hasn't given me a answer on the N900 yet but hopefully something soon.

Also BLT and NewEgg did not mention any delays due to exclusive rights. If that's true I'm about to hammer the nails in the coffin.

But they dont have the n900 as i called them today i also know the manager.

Hmmm... The guy said they did have.... Gonna call again now..

Yeah I just called (0161 834 7107) they said they got a demo one..
