I also have had troubles with the update. I'm not surprised, it's no big deal. I'm devoting my life to making my N800 work, so I have no reason to complain. Just don't tell me to get a life. That option has been deleted.

The Diablo upgrade actually fixed my x-server problems which had knocked out my app manager(something to do with advanced backlight/regular light/sound and omweather)!!! Then it borked my dual boot!! Got dual boot back following steps here!!! )) Pretty easy. OK now the hard part, after reading about 450 posts in 4 threads I still don't understand how to put qwerty's mmc speed/rotation from here (http://www.mediafire.com/?yzgm9ywyity) into this new Diablo/dual boot.

Now I keep losing the dual boot when I try to put qwerty's mmc speed/rotation on new Diablo/dual boot. I've read that you need to use new flasher then put the bootable dual boot back in. How do you do those steps in order. I know I'm close. Also can Brontides steps (/usr/sbin/osso-mmc-mount.sh, and noatime fix for /usr/sbin/mmc-mount.) be added afterwards into this new Diablo upgrade without borking?? I ask because the Nokia flasher no longer works. TIA, Dan

I've noticed that you have to reinstall that option after the update.

EDIT: I can't seem to get it to reinstall! Has the repository gone down, or something?

Does anyone else use openssh? I don't know if it's just me, but it seems I'm having more trouble using openssh (and sftp). Before I set it up so I could login easily just by typing in the IP along with root and its password. Now it's slower and has more connection difficulty.

Wifi powersaving. Make XChat idle in a semi-active channel or something and you'll be set.

But for idle times for WLAN idle times it says unlimited. And for my accounts (I have GC+Gizmo) It's always on green. It could be getting a weak signal, though it was working from this distance before. (and I can still use the tablet just fine).

Wifi Power Saving Mode (or PSM) is not related to timeout periods.

Hmm, any reason why it changed? (Tried your suggestion and it worked). And I don't have to necessarily use xchat, I can use anything that would keep Wifi power saving mode from kicking in right. So something like Pidgin would work.

It didn't change, your network usage changed.

My network usage changed? I'm doing the same thing I've been doing before. Using my desktop in Linux with TB, FF, and Pidgin open. While I transfer files to and from my tablet (which usually just stays on the home screen).

Though the internet has been slow today strangely. But I don't think that would impact the network's speed though. Unless my sister was doing something on the internet..
