$5 discount to nid0 (if you want it) for pointing out the error. JonWW, can you fix this? It will mean the first 50 or so orders will ship today, because I'm not sitting around manually editing stuff.

Hows this?

The vlookup uses the 2nd sheet as a source table. Syntax of vlookup is as follows:

=VLOOKUP(A2,LookupTable!$A$2:$B$256,2,FALSE)

1st: Item to look up
2nd: Location of lookup table (note the $ syntax to stop the table moving if you move or drag the result cell)
3rd: Which coloum to return from the lookup table
4th: Allow loose matching...

Hope that helps..

EDIT: fixed a typo (not -> note)

Thanks a lot for that - See my post again, it's been edited to include a dirtily fixed up spreadsheet for you, it can easily be neatened if need be but works.

OK,

Well, now I have a conundrum. JonWW almost nailed it, nid0 provided insight and a quick and dirty answer, and bobnova gave me a working solution and instructions.

You all helped, what do you want?

Also, if you'll be so kind as to briefly explain to me how to use it on a much more complicated spreadsheet, that would be great. The columns of interest are identical, though.
That was embarrassing didn't check it. I saw countries were created so assumed correct, sorry about that.

What is the address format you are using, do you have an example.

I'm very happy to pay for such a cool product. I have been catching up with the last few pages of this thread and don't seem to have a PM or confirmation of my preorder anywhere.

So if I could get 1 black wood + 1 acrylic and a link for where to pay I'd be very happy!

Cheers

As with bobnova, i'm plenty happy enough to pay whatever you're asking for 1 wood and 1 acrylic stand, my original request in this thread came a little late for preorders though so i'm currently eagerly waiting on the public store!

Bobnova, you can have that and a discount, as well.

Nid0, Bobnova, JonWW please email me [danreetz @ g m@il.com] when you order (or with your order number) and I'll refund a big chunk of your order when you're done. This saved me a lot of fooling around. I needed this to get Shopify to play nice with Endicia.

As for the sample data, here's some butchered/anonymized data that you could play with if you are so inclined. The column of interest is "shipping country".

All my thanks are belong to you.

bobnova, nidO, how do I contact you? You're not accepting PMs. email me at the address I posted above for instructions.

I think as we both have low post counts we don't have access to private messaging, it's currently forcibly disabled for my account with no apparent way to enable it. I've emailed you though, thanks.
