Just called stupid Dell and they won't tell me anything except "Ohp! It's the 9th. I can sign you up for an automated notification when it ships, but..that's all"
Shouldn't that be standard for ANY order? For them to tell me when it ships!? Argh. If what they other guy said is true and Nokia USA has started shipping them out to customers and I have to wait till the 9th of December? I'd be so angryyy!

Ok, now we all know that most likely at the end of the week or beginning of next week the online stores will have the phone shipped to their customers.
Is there any information available on when they might hit the stores in UK? I'm in Romania and the official importer of Nokia said most likely after mid-december, the nokia store said probably in january and the same january date was considered for operators (Vodafone and Orange). I'm considering talking a 24 hours return flight to UK to get this phone and if I order the tickets now are less expensive, that's why I ask if anybody has any clue on the date the phones are gonna hit the stores.
By the way, is the UK keyboard layout the one with four arrows? I only know about US, but US is quite far

Thanks!

It's now a struggle to find the N900 on the Nokia Online Store (UK)
It doesn't appear on the 'Best seller' section anymore..takes a while to dig around for the device.

So I replied back asking if those of us who pre-ordered the product are also affected by this date. still waiting for reply.
Believe me if Newegg has product on hand they will ship before that date. Otherwise, it's just potentially lost revenue, especially since they have no reason to hold onto the product except for a magical date on a webpage.
