Oh, I see.
Just tried Live Wallpapers on my N900. Seems pretty decent app. I have overclocked my device to 900 mhz and 1 screen with animated wallpaper seems to be an absolute maximum.
So still lot of work to do with this...
I wonder if all that makes android's live wallpapers to run smoother is code optimization?
Plus maybe lighter actual animations?
Because overclocked N900 should for sure be powerful enough to run these.

Sorted out the choppy video playback problem.
Live wallpaper seems to like an mp4 encoded file best.
So i converted some .mov files to mp4 set at 800x480 resolution at 30 fps with bitrate set to 1200 kbps
i used 'super' video converter and the results are good.
