By the way, I have to wonder how much faster/better that V6 SuperCharger can make NITdroid run on an N900, too!

Kangal... buddy...

You know I enjoy reading your posts, but this cannot be ignored. You're passing of speculation as fact and writing in a very assertive
way as to lead people that some of your comments are fact, when they are not.

For example:

Seriously?

How can you project future performance of battery life from a software upgrade that does not yet exist?

ChromeOS doesn't even have an ARM port. Now, it's likely that there will be one available, but what that will look like remains to be seen -- eg. verified boot or that NaCl requires virtualization, a cortex A15 capability, and a V8 port to the hardware. I also won't hold my breath that for a swift development movement on the laptop dock.

Now these things may happen, and very well likely so, but they are not guaranteed to happen, and certainly not guaranteed in the short run. They should be stated as speculation, not fact. It is misleading.

Oh, and the GSII has HDMI out as well.

As an aside:
This entire buy-based-on-potential has stung far too many people in this place, including myself. I would easily recommend the GSII over the Atrix 4G.

FYI, these settings were discussed in the overclocking thread; I had a fling with the conservative setting myself, but we concluded that the default ondemand setting was best.

Yummy.. Take a look at the Galaxy Tab 8.9 with the keyboard dock:

Not quite Transformer-grade (In This Man's Opinion - ITMO) due to missing touchpad and presumaby, battery, but would do the job very nicely. Now, is a reasonable price too much to ask?

Gameloft is taking cues from Rockstar and bringing a very mature game to Android that seems like it is inspired from Grand Theft Auto:

Introducing the very NSFW 9mm:

Great graphics, and could be fun, just not my type of game.

Hahaha... This is hilarious..

The Windows Phone 7 music player UI has been COMPLETELY re-implemented as an Android applcation, by none other than the Launcher Pro creator:

It even works on Honeycomb!

Very impressive work. You have to love Android, no?

I know! It still surprises me. I thought after 3000, I was going to stop posting, but I very much enjoy passing on the news that I find interesting.

Get ready for a bold adventure! The Android Open ADK will be hitting the Maker Faire this weekend!

http://android-developers.blogspot.c...ker-faire.html

Tim bray:
This weekend is Maker Faire, and Google is all over it.

Following up on yesterday’s ADK post, we should take this opportunity to note that the Faire has chased a lot of ADK-related activity out of the woodwork. The level of traction is pretty surprising giving that this stuff only decloaked last week.
Mobile devices and DIY electronics make only too much sense together. It beats the portability of a laptop and provides interesting things like easily docking a small mobile to the electronic, or taking advantage of the various sensors found in a mobile (eg. camera or accelerometer).

I expect the ADK to be a huge hit.

Yes me too, ADK was one of the reasons I placed an order for the HTC Sensation today. It's a direction I really wish Maemo/MeeGo had gone further in, the Push N900 projects were a great start but seemed to not go anywhere. I can imagine with google's push and more standardized components available in kits etc that physcial computing with Android could take off in a big way
