That was really absurd. What the hell? People really believe in whatever they like...

All I'm saying is LOL at the Non-believers
why are some still in denial,
I told you all you had few weeks to learn to code if you wanted any chance of ever getting qwerty dev device.
Instead you wasted your time here only to be getting proved wrong in the end

I hope so... I really hope so... My heart cannot take another disappointment, lol.

It BETTER be 720p or I will be disappointed!! lol

is it possible that Nokia labels the Consumer device with a different naming-scheme? I have heard something about „Nokia ION“?!?

just like they did it with the Nokia ORO (C7)

ive read every single one of your posts in this thread. the fact that you devalued your stock, with the 720p screen, and MeeGoCon announcement from another intermediary should be enough for anyone to take pause with what you write.

all ive been saying is wait till the FCC docs get uncovered, that much we KNOW will happen. your VKB device is vaporware right now, so till further notice, you have no story.

curse you DSM!!!
If people here started to use they brains for once!

Its more important for Nokia to sell many devices instead of a small sets for geeks. Most consumers prefer slim devices (means no hwkbd)

So its more likely it will not have hwkeyboard.

Nokia doesnt give a **** what some geeks(including myself) may say about a non hwkb handset.

for them it is more important sell devices and make as much money as possible on every sold dev.

so the rumors about NO hwkb probadly is true.

"Releasing" two devices but only selling one happened before at Nokia. There was a developer device based on the N900, probably you haven't seen it. This was never intended for sale. It had an ugly (but functional) casing.

The only difference this time is that the developer device originally was planned to go on sales. This plan was changed back in October 2010. Since then it was used internally as developer device. But as there were already a lot of produced devices they decided to give them to developers in a community/developer device program. This program should start before the announcement of the consumer device.

So to sum up (I'm sure you've problems to read everything..):
Two devices released (as in given out from Nokia) but only one device goes on sales.

Have a nice day.

the N900 dev edition, was the same as the N900 that was sold. point blank.

according to who, you and eldar 92,000 were produced, specifically eldar, which somehow made it impossible to distribute at MeeGoCon if not for the fact that it isnt MeeGo. which is another contradiction in your narrative.

apparently making fun of someones ability to critically analyze your presence here offended you into making a personal jab at my commitment to read and think for myself. im sorry for that.

right now, i challenge you to come up with something more concrete than the FCC+Teaser, if you cant then do not denigrate my point which has always been to wait and see. patience is key!

@erendorn, i not 100% sure i follow your logic, but this is what i understood: that because theres no FCC for lankku doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

for the record im not denying its existence, actually i couldnt care less, what im arguing is the misinformation that changes from weeke to week. leave well enough alone, dissect the teaser and move on, anything else is OFF TOPIC

thread title: N9 hits FCC??? Nokia N9 Teaser Video

not VKB vaporware (for now)

Oh, and you know that peter@maemo now is peter@meego, that is clearly all the proof we'll ever need *snicker*

Btw, the source that someone linked to here, had a comment that their source said, despite this being a harmattan device, it was not an N9. So different name discussion, live on!
