i dont mind --nogui..

savestates, faster with sound and more compatible: those are the best next fixes you/they can add!

Lol exactly :P

Also... perhaps I need to stop throwing the word perfect around.... they run and from memory, Duke Nukem was pretty much full speed.

Now to Doom....

.. Nope... crashes... sorry :P Just tried Hexen again.. and it crashes as well (I'm skeptical of this one though.. may be a bad rom)... Duke Nukem definitely works though =x Quake 64 doesn't either... sprites are all really buggy.

Sigh, why'd I open my big mouth before refreshing my memory :P

My version has GUI? Since when? Why are you using the nogui... I swear I didn't put the gui build in =x

I believe save states are already available on the Pandora version, some one here just needs to figure them out. Big post from Exophase why sound will never be great/perfect is here:

It's a very good read. I suppose we can always hope that visual gets so optimized that sound won't have an issue however.

for some crazy reason I got a message asking for a password in the setup, it was at the point where I am trying to setup symlink I tried to ignore this but it just says password incorrect, I then ran root and retyped the instructions but when I now type mupen64plus I get a "not found" error. could it be that I typed the wrong location in and now it can't find the file? even when Im in the .mupen64plus folder and I can see the mupen64plus file it still says "mupen64plus not found".

Any ideas on how I can redo this step?

Assuming this is where your typing mupen64plus <romname>

You need to either type the full path of where the rom is, or move to it. For example if its in your main N900 folder (seen from file manager):
cd MyDocs
mupen64plus <nameofrom>

OR

mupen64plus MyDocs/<nameofrom>

If your running from inside the folder it needs to be ./mupen64plus as Linux has the procedure of looking in the applications folder ONLY when you type without index of where it is (./ says its in the current file).

That aside... Try logging as root then type the command without the sudo. It will work if you type it right. Ensure the space is in the right place as well, hell even copy paste it if you have to.

That is really nice! You should publish it here:

I downloaded Queen BeeCon Widget but haven't had much time to figure it out. I am dying to use yours though and I'm pretty sure everyone else is too.

@Arichman

It's already in the wiki.

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...36&post=741436 (and this is the post it sends you to)

It's under the "Run application in Xterm with different Icons/Sizes" title.

My advice, if your going to do this. Is only bother posting up those that are working full, or close to full, speed. As chances are the next revision will see half your list made incorrect.
