I cant see this being $350, if Nokia want to gain share in the US it needs to be $199 or even $149.
Wholesale will be around $399 im guessing so $350 would be a rip off by Tmob.

But the carrier subsidy probably only affects about 20% of the people looking to buy it.

Really, at its Ferrari of a phone price tag? I'd agree if the price was $350 instead of $700. $700 targets this device to a very very narrow segment of the customer base. I can't see Nokia growing its maemo customer base drastically at $700 a unit, but I'm sure their bean counters have done the math already and know more than I do.

I don't agree with your 20% number. I'd think it'd almost be the other way around. It'll largely depend on how many of the NIT lovers are already on T-Mobile, I'd think (as well as how many want to be on a contract). But, we'll just have to wait and see.
