As i can see
Some poeple having problems with the patch

@F2thaK

Try to reapply the patch
this is caused because the patch is not applied
it means speedpatch in event.d is not there

PS It should be created automatically with the patchit.sh

Please tell me what happens with you

@Gusse

Sorry for your problem
but did you try it after reflashing ?
And did it worked ?

Ps: for me and thingonaspring
Have tested it and found no problems with it

Actually testing a new patch wich might increase the perfrmance another 2x

@Dark_Angel85

the main aim from the updated patch is to increase the performance of the apps launched from xtermial

Enjoy

@Dark_Angel85
apt-get is for installing
it doesn't need to be improved but running a programs like .jar .sh and binaries should be cgrouped (wich means a better performance)

This is awesome. The need for overclocking got down after applying this patch. It works really great. It's what this device was claiming for. Thanks!

@epitaph
i will tell you why i ignored that one and didn't ignore this one

First : this thread has more expanation of what does cgroup do
while that thread doesn't

second : this thread has in addition a lot of tweaks
while that thead doesn't

third : this thread is still active and karam + thingonnaspring are develping a new patch (after the previous version)
i have sent a PM to karam to know that
while that thread is dead

fourth: this patch is better than that one
because that patch didn't work (at least with me)
but this one worked perfectly
And also this patch is different from that one

it edits .profile to make xterminal gives more performance for the programms launched from it

I guess those are enough reasons
unless you want to fight this thread more
Cheers

@CasTTeLLo:
I think that happened to me. I removed the script (.sh) after launching it and had that problem on next reboot. I don't know if the script is launched on every reboot to reapply the patch or is it permanent (anyone can confirm this?), but I left it there and now I don't have that report when I open xterm.

@F2thaK @CasTTeLLo @zurrain101

did you guys make sure that you have removed the old patch and rebooted first?
using the instructions at the 1st post

and after removing the old patch and applying the new one
check if there is speedpatch in /etc/event.d/

If those problems are keep going
i think i will reverse to the old one then
