when you refer to "kernels" you probably mean settings. it's always the same kernel (unlike for Lehto's kernels). if you have problems with the camera or video, then your voltage
is probably to low and you should activate a settings with higher voltages.
a phone call will not reset voltages to default.

i believe someone aleady answered that here. and i also know that you need to tweek the avoid frequencies settings to change that min freq

Cheers for all the good work titan.

I'm not too sure what the combination was but I bricked my N900 today after I tried to uninstall the latest kernel-power. I wanted to install the "Bugfix for Touchscreen calibration" and so clicked on uninstall kernel-power from my menu.

It gave me the warning, which I clicked OK and then after a couple of seconds it gave a confirmation that the kernel-power had been uninstalled. I then checked in Conky and saw that I was still running at 900Mhz. I then went to re-boot the phone, but it wouldn't turn back on again.

I had been running the N900 at Max freq 900mhz and Min freq 125Mhz with Tonism's starving voltages, and it was running fine through the day.

I've successfully flashed it back to life and will be installing titan's kernels again!

Maybe next time I'll use the apt-get install --reinstall kernel kernel-flasher command to revert back!

thank you very much for the update, the codes are much easier to execute (due to being shorter).

they work! so what can i do with the "kernel-power-settings" folder? is that safe to delete?

I need to know how to do this (save the kernel-power settings in a folder). Can someone simplify this for me. I've read it in this thread I'm sure but I've got about 10-12 tabs open in Firefox and I keep bouncing around reading different methods. I haven't "activated" the kernel yet. I'm a bit apprehensive. I've read when activated it begins in default (250-600Mhz) but can be configured. That's where I come to a standstill. I need to know how to save the configs in a file. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't understand what you mean with "save this folder"?
you mean /usr/share/kernel-power-settings?
don't delete nor change i!. it's part of the package and gets overwritten with every update.
all users configurations go to /home/user/.kernel or /etc/default/kernel-power (if default).

to save the current settings in /home/user/.kernel you run
sudo kernel-config save myconfig

the deinstallation needs more testing.
Did you run it on LR1.2? then it would be no surprise.
I recommend to run "sudo kernel-deinstall" in Terminal to see the output.
after deinstallation you need to shutdown and boot. warm reboot doesn't work.
