Here's a nice post where Unity 3D talks about the effects used in Shadowgun:

I really like their tetrahedron light probes. It seems like a good solution to the problem of dynamic lighting, and with minimal computation! I also like that additional lights can be dynamically added to the scene by projecting on to these probes. This should allow for many cool effects.

Unity is really bringing the thunder. I can see them competing with Unreal Engine if they keep this up! Plus, their Unity Store allows developers to quickly access an array of assets, which simplifies development even more.

I'm glad that Unity compiles to Android! Let the games begin!

The Galaxy S2 for ATT is the Attain:

It is pictured below with the HDMI dock:

Of course, you can simply use a MHL cable, but the dock looks nice!

I also like the hardware, very sleek.

Who said the cams on android sucks...check this out

The lens comes with a special shell that attaches to the Xperia arc chassis, from which the lens is mounted. This means it should be able to easily detach when on the move. It comes with a focal length of 3 metres. There’s even a small tripod to round off the package. If you’re interested it will cost around the €17 mark. Check out some pictures after the jump.

This is really cool. I'd love to see a phone with an oversized sensor with detachable lenses. This would be amazing! Like a little DLSR in your pocket (with the SLR part )

Details are light, but at least it's official, which likely means that it's going to happen soon.
i read here that Rogers will get the infuse 4g this summer (with 2.3!) which I expect since sammy gave them the Cappy. maybe bell is gonna have SGS2 since they got the I9000. we will see.

if i am to follow a trend, what devices AT&T has Rogers will eventually get (maybe at 70% chance). so if AT&T will get SGS2, i can standby for now and wait....

The Linux die-hards may have their wish soon. It seems that there is a project to flash Linux on Tegra 2 devices:

You may be able to have full Linux running on your Transformer, Xoom, or Galaxy Tab 8.9/10.1 soon enough!

Though I do wonder what these new tools for nvflash are.

Regardless, like all the existing MeeGo-on-ARM efforts they will probably get stuck in the whole "vendor doesn't make Xorg 1.9 compatible drivers" hole. At most they get a build for one specific version of Ubuntu and nothing else
