The N900 uses a USB charger - so region specific charging is not a problem.
It also comes with a Wall charger adapter so you can use an old charger maybe.

But just get yourself a standard Wall to USB charger plug and you are set, irrespective of where you live. Or plug into your computer to charge.

The phoen is not locked as mentioned before.

At&T says it will work - that is on their voice network.
Data (3G) will not work on At&T as the data frequencies are not supported for At&T. It is supported for T-Mobile (see data sheet for 3G frequencies)

Somewhere in the DDP pages is stated Euro1 device, so I presume it'll come with EU charger and EU stuff (keyboard)

Okay I ordered mine and they charged my credit card full price immediatley ($369) no tax or shipping apparently. Thanks Nokia!

Edit: Looks like they only put a hold on the funds...

Nilchak,

Thanks for the info on the USB charger. The no 3G for AT&T is not a good thing as 3G is significantly faster than Edge.
Thanks,

Nick.

IMHO the entire agreement reads like "papel mojado" (== useless, not worth the paper it's written on) for what we're getting from "the program".

My worst worry is customs. That, and getting charged but not getting any email, confirmation, receipt, tracking number, or product.

The funny thing is they didn't really charge (me). They just reserved the amount. Customs should not be an issue if you're within the EU. Taxes might get tricky - DDP seems to be used dealing with companies, that's why they 'require' the VAT number and also likely why they listed 0 VAT, which certainly can't be right. This will certainly be a learning experience for everyone

The first rule of NDA club is you don't talk about NDA club.

No for customs, yes for VAT (except if you're a company, which seems to be causing the confusion).
