Nokia E63. What an excellent phone. Precessor of E63, E71 was sturdy as rock. Had that too.

And I'm loving it.
Same here. I bought the N97 32gb not long after launch. Wow, disillusioned is an understatement. I still had my N95 at the time and thought the N97 was a natural progression. Heh. How wrong could I be?

Now I've had my N900 for 3 weeks and I haven't looked back. The N97 is going up for sale and I'm NEVER getting rid of my N95 or my N900.

I always like to have a mobile that is different or has something extra ..my list from 2003 until now:

1. O2 XDA (Window mobile when it was revolutionary)
2. NEC 400i I-mode (first camera phone, i-mode was nice)
3. Nokia 6680 (Symbian was still good; unsigned apps, great 1.3 MP camera)
4. G-Cam Gigabyte (probably my best low-light camera ever)
5. I-mobile 902 (so so)
6. Samsung G810 (3x optical zoom, GPS)
7. Nokia N900 (best community, keyboard)

Next phone: not in a rush, but if anyone would get the Dell streak running on Maemo, it could be a candidate

I have always been a "Nokier":

2005: Nokia 1100. Best phone for the price.
2006: Nokia 6101, got stolen in mid 2007
2007: Nokia 6300. Great phone.
2010: N900. The 6300 still works, being used by a brother in law

N97=crap right before the N900, I even bought it without searching about it! I have a real vast history with Nokia phones.

Before the N900, I was carrying at least two devices simultaneously, sometimes three, sometimes even four:

A siemens A55 for phone and SMS

A Palm TX for PDA, music player, PDF viewer, gaming, and (rudimentary) navigation

As the Palm has no GPS built in, additionally an external GPS:

And a Canon Powershot G5 for photos:

All now included in the N900. I'm only on the lookout for a good digital compact camera to make better photos than the build-in camera.

well after a couple of bricks in between '98 and '04 I bought a then-brand-new nokia 6230. it was awesome, I've been using it for almost 4 years. for that time 3G browsing, camera, mp3 and all was pretty good stuff.
then I finally switched to N95 8GB which was also good, but it didn't have that 'awww' factor for me, since I basically went through with amazement on my previous nokia.
Now it's been a year with N900, and I fully like it. yes, there are bugs and lags, but the good stuff prevails by far. lots of people here complain, but I think they just got used too much to all of its great sides, like lovely UI, chat conversatons, firm build, awesome default browser, etc etc.
