In v29 I have reverted most changes back to v27. I hope it works better for you.
Again, only upgrade from v27 to v29 if your are brave.

v28 and later fix /sbin/preinit so that you can always reflash to the stock
kernel in the worst case:
Code:
flasher-3.5 -f --flash-only=kernel -R -F RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

I am not sure what is best to attach.. I could take another round with maemo28 if you like. Just specify what output you need.

Hi Titan, just to report a case, if not unique to myself.

After upgrade to 2.6.28.10power28 this morning my N900 can't seem to be able to pick up phone call. The calls came in without sound or vibration, and the peers can't hear each other when picking up.

I reverted to 2.6.28.10power27 and the phone function returns to normal.

I'm not sure if this happen to every one else.

Just in case you need any debugging message, I'd grateful to assist.

After install a couple of apps crashes. The apps in question is clock and conversations. Now I've "kernel-config load ideal" again just to see if this will solve the problem.

Nope, more apps are crashing. Now photos and conversations failed

EDIT: Sorry... didn't read the last messages. Now I've gone back to v27. Thanx Gusse!

v29 still crahses a lot and sounds are missing.

titan I'm grateful of your kind effort.

At this moment if anyone wants to revert to 2.6.28.10power27, you may use this command:

Code:
root
cd /opt/var/cache/apt/archives
dpkg -i kernel-power-settings_0.7_armel.deb kernel-power-flasher_2.6.28-maemo27_armel.deb kernel-power-modules_2.6.28-maemo27_armel.deb kernel-power_2.6.28-maemo27_armel.deb
If you happened to autoclean your debs, and for some reason you can't pull it back by apt-get --download-only, you may download them from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/elkfqx

Hope this help.

Oh thanks. It'd save me time if I didn't miss it. ^^

I'm sure I'll give 30 a try when I don't need my phone function tonight.
