Will there be any N900 delivered to USA end users on "landed" and "available" day 2?

I'm shure that Your "sense of humor" is still in beta stage.

Nokia's Supply Chain of Fail = Lost Customers. There are always other options if they keep on pissing off their customers. Everyone has their own pain threshold for punishment.

Gmail? Works fine. I do not use Google docs, so no harm no foul. I do use:

Access phone function without landscape then portrait steps
Google voice search
Shopsavvy
Google maps and Nav
All the great game emulators
Text notes with one hand and no need for landscape
Use apps without landscape
Jetflicks
MMS (family uses so I use it- not everyone has other options on their phone)
Message alerts and notifications on home screen.
Direct call shortcut icons on homepage

I am getting the N900, but Droid has its strengths too and no need to wait for hopeful fixes for issues listed above. Still, N900 will eventually kick Droid's a55 as far as game emulators. Big time.

N900, where arrrrrre yoooouuuu.......

I received this reply from MPD when i emailed them asking, WHERE'S MY N900!

"Dear Customer,

If you do not know already, the N900 has been pushed back again. The latest information from Nokia, is that the handsets have started shipping from Finland and should be on the market (in our possession) for the last week of November.

There have been no dates given. As soon as there is concrete and definite ETA’s then the website will be updated as soon as we know – please refrain from emailing us – the website will have this information on it before our emailing and customer services representatives know.

The large number of orders has also lead to a large number of phone calls and emails – this flux is difficult to deal with especially when we need to give you, the customer, the best service possible. This is one of our efforts just to let you know the status of your order and also to try and make things a little easier for us.

Those of you who have applied for the N900 and have not heard from us need to:

· Use our online tracker to find the status of your order.
· If your status is ‘pending stock’, this literally means we are waiting for the stock, however your application for contract or PAYG has been approved and your order will be filled when the stock is here and ready to be despatched.

Should you need to contact us, please try out our new online chat system where you can ask immediate questions – all the information on the N900 is above.

Many thanks for those who have been patient with us – it is much appreciated – we are looking forward to despatching your order as soon as possible.

Kindest Regards, and for what it is worth an apology if you have found it difficult to get through to us, trust us, we are as anxious as you to send out these phones.

The Web Dept."

Well, if MPD is right, that means Nokia was wrong about the US and their previous statements. I guess just a few days to see who is full of 5hit.

Nokia channel partners or Nokia themselves. I vote on the latter
