Perhaps I can suggest a new topic for conversations.nokia.com... How about in the next episode you converse with your customers?? Too novel a concept?
Kudos to that...i said the same thing a few posts prior to yours

Arrrgh! I only pre-ordered mine around 10th November (although been wanting it since it was first announce) and Im struggling, dont know how you have all managed since september. sold my old e90 as well thinking I could manage a week without a phone :P

I too would be moving on to a HTC HD2 or Hero....if I didnt know the minute I did this bad boy would come out and I would regret not having waited for my entire 18 month contract

First post but been reading these threads since the preorder date and just wanted to say cheers to everybody for at least keeping me busy while I wait.

At the rate Nokia has screwed the N900 launch up and being that people are spiteful by nature, there may be plenty of N900's to go around

Perhaps this issue and At&t pointing out unintentionally how weak their 3G coverage is in the US will cause a Droid spike Nah.

Hey, is Verizon behind all of this I guess not, since it is a global screw-up.

Just wondering if anyone has a list of UK websites where the N900 is available for pre-order (preferably SIM free).

I've been trying to find information about N900 availability in Malaysia/South East Asia to no avail and I'm pretty much prepared for the possibility that it will NOT be available here. Worst case scenario I'll be getting my sister to buy one in the UK and courier it back to me. Obviously, being able to avoid being stuck with a contract and a SIM locked phone would be ideal!

I've tried all "normal" means of finding out about availability with no significant success... mainly "we can't tell you if/when it will be available". As such I've begun my attempt to get information via social engineering and if that fails too, well there's my sister in UK to fall back on.

Seems like Amazon UK was pretty on the ball when they took off the preorder and changed the ship date to 29th of November at the start of November. They obviously had a heads up the device wasn't shipping anytime soon and people were just going to get annoyed if they preordered it.
