yes, I'm much more confident that this one will work, but again, not 100% sure.
so this is still experimental but now I know what I'm doing

I could replicate your sounds+crash issues with previous versions.
With this version everything works fine for me.

and fine for me too!!!! Awesome! Thanks!!!!

Cheers!!!!

UPDATE: running smooth @ 1.1GHz! playing music, while browsing this community, bluetooth on.

UPDATE: @1.1GHz currently 37˚C temp (28˚C weather, almost summer here) and still running normal with PR 1.2 Leaked

hopefully more testers would confirm v33 is working so it can be uploaded as an update in the repos.

i usually OC @ highest 1ghz and everything is okay (event playing with vgba for 60mins). i tried 1.15ghz and played vgba with wi-fi on, and after 10-15mins, my n900 crashes/reboot, so i continue with the same setting and it happened again....so i conclude that my n900 cant witstand the power of 1.15GHz clockspeed.

also tried 1.1GHz and no problems (like 1GHz) but i would rather stick with my max 1GHz.

also, i noticed a battery i bought from ebay (made in hungary) heats up 50% faster than the genuine one. (one that comes with the phone in the box)

Sorry to be an idiot, but how can you install the v33 kernel for testing from the file locations titan supplied?

Can it be done in xterm? i've tried figuring it out but i really cant understand the commands needed!

1) download 3 files
2) open xterm and enter sudo gainroot
3) dpkg -i <kernel file>
4) dpkg -i <kernel module file>
5) dpkg -i <flasher file>
6) shutdown N900 and restart

Sound is working and everything i've tried is working as it should.

But then again i've only had it installed about an hour!
