In the UK we can send and receive texts via landline as long as we have a compatible handset.

As per my previous post in one of the other speculation threads..

Quote Andre Klapper
"This has been fixed in package
hildon-desktop 1:2.2.132-1+0m5
which is part of the internal build version
10.2010.07-3
(Note: 2009/2010 is the year, and the number after is the week.)"

We have got a week 2 release (3.2010.2-8) in week 7 on Feb 16th. So following that timescale a week 7 release (10.2010.07-3) will be in week 12. Which is week commencing Mar 22nd..

Just my logic but I will stand by it.

OK, but we already have things from release 10.2010.09-3 marked as available in PR1.2:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8958

How this fits in this timescale? Maybe this confirms that the update will be delivered in April, as some folks speculated already .

There are still a few little bugs that need to be patched. Same with every new os. Quite a few of them have been fixed in pr1.2. Also a few nice to haves.

Jake, your English is more than adequate, no issues!

In the UK the exchange translates the text to speech and calls the number. Personally I've not bothered using it other than for novelty though.

- Video recording resolution support.
- Mail widget
- Official support of portrait mode in web browser.
- Native Geolocations support for web browser.
- Volume button can be set to either volume or zoom for browser.
- Themes for Smileys and Conversations.
- MfE support enhancements. (Can accept/decline meeting requests)
- SMS option only shows for mobile phone numbers. (not for landlines)
- File Manager allows sharing of any files. (no more need for Petrovich)
- Clear device data and restore settings option. (possibly full factory default)
- Group chat possible in Instant Messaging
- Search by typing for applications in App Launcher.
- Sticky tags for videos and photos.
- Away status for status of Contacts (page 52)
- Can disable Show Captured Video after finishing recording. (page 82)
- Media player now supports MAFW Plug-ins. (page 91)
Can i ask if there any pause function in video recording? It is verying annoying when you just want to do a continously recording for only moments you want to capture without have to use the PC to join them all up or taking the whole lot of useless thing then use computer to edit it.
