Looks like you received a video in one of your groups that I don't know why it caused a corruption in the logs.

So every time you start up Yappari it reads the last line of every log for every open chat/group you have to show it in the main window and that's when the problem seems to appear.

I don't think any other way but to delete all the logs. You WILL lose all your contacts' history since I don't know exactly what log causes the problem.

So what you have to do is quit Yappari completely (no blue icon in the systray) and type from terminal:

rm -vrf /home/user/.yappari

CHECK BEFORE YOU PRESS ENTER THAT YOU TYPED EXACTLY THAT SINCE THAT COMMAND IS VERY DANGEROUS.

It will show you everything that was deleted and then start Yappari and it should work. Select Sync Now immediately after log in.

If you're totally against losing your history and you think you're up to it, you could try delete just the groups history with a command like this:

rm -vrf /home/user/.yappari/logs/*-*
rm -v /home/user/.yappari/roster.db
rm -v /home/user/.yappari/chats.db

and that should also work.

EDIT: The -v option was added to rm so you won't tell me "nothing happened" again.

Is it possible to make the file browser open on the last used folder when trying to upload image/video/voice files?

also a feature request - multiple files' upload.

And what about new "push-to-talk" function added in whatsapp? Is anything like this possible in yappari?

Hi Friends,

I have been using V. 0.0.35 til some week ago and received a generic registration fail message error.

After that I tried a lot of time to login my account but it ask me to registered me had the same message, till i received error: BLOCKED

So I have read this forum and I saw that lot of user had the same problem with V. V. 0.0.35

I removed V 0.0.35 and updated with yappari 0.0.37, rebooted the phone and still getting "blocked" message in log files.

I didn't remove any directories from previous version. The log is attached in this forum message.

Any way to work around this issue if anyone else has seen the same problem as of today or with version v0.0.37?

I have seen a lot of user had the same problem with version 0.0.35

I don't believe that the developer nor anyone on this forum would be able to help you. As far as I know, once you're blocked, that's it. You would need to contact WhatsApp Inc. and ask them to unblock your account.

I suggest for everyone using this application to stay in the loop and check this thread frequently, especially the first post.

No I can't help people blocked.

WhatsApp usually blocks for two reasons: using the same number in two devices causing re-registration all the time, or spamming people.

You had hundreds of open chats... That's suspicious.

This is just an example.
It seems that in the official Whatsapp application it's possible to send one message with more than 1 line, whereas in Yappari it will show up in 1 line.

And what exactly needs to be "fixed"? or you want to type several lines in Yappari? that woudln't be a fix, but a feature.
