I hate to say this but the mozilla engine seems slower than the Opera one. Accuracy is higher though.
Anyone done any side-by-side tests on browser speeds against OS 2007?

It's quite possible that the MircoB browser is slower than Opera - Opera has been focused on the small device browser for quite a while - even my Nokia 6230i phone manages to be quite usable with the 4.0 Java browser.

MicroB is relatively new, based on an engine that is (or was) mainly desktop focused.

Dar (still waiting for his first Maemo device...)

Could someone test the above and see if the sites are faster with this fix? One could of course try adblock plus too, if it makes the sites load faster.

the browser seems SUPER slow when it's set to a certain ZOOM percentage or 'fit to screen'. I find myself waiting 10+ seconds after the page finishes loading to be able to scroll or do anything on it. it is a big annoyance.
