You can already do that now, with the dumb "profile" of lms, adding the extension, but yes we will add the flv there also like sherifnix said, mplayer is the player, when we mean supported is "scanned" and added to the database : )

handful, I am really looking forward to the new release. I'm not going to badger you about a release date; getting it right is more important than getting it quickly, so take your time and for heaven's sake don't forget to sleep!

I just wanted to say that I really, really like the way canola is going. I think you guys have a very clear vision of what you want to do, and are very, very good at doing it.

Keep up the good work.

@Red, yeah red, thanks for the support. The important thing is that. I know a guy release a youtube browsing application (gtk and python) and I read there " you punched canola on this one) and I really don't take it as bad thing we are keen on details, and for example the api used there didn't passed our tests so we did another one, and it's also going open source for people wanting to test.

People should realize (some people actually) that we are a small team, working hard, and with a huge list of priorities. So much that we admit that we cannot do everything and now we want to give others the chance to their own plugins.

youtube was " ready " since almost 1 week and a half ago, it actually took 3 days to have it running. But we respect our " future " fellow developers of plugins that we are reviewing, improving and making at least sure most of videos will play (mplayer has some issues)

So, we get criticized, but we don't care because we know that there's a few but patient amount of users that really enjoy the software and like you seems to know that we have a clear gol. We are humans we do wrong stuff (for god sake look at canola1) and we are improving as day go by.

The team is commited, I have probably some guys going to other projects but new guys arriving, and I think we have a long path over the year. I think that in june, we will have so much stuff done (extra) that people will really have a hard time finding " missing " features compared to others or to their needs

*how to do that without cluttering the ui? that's my personal and my team's challenge
