never mind my install issue. it seems i may have a issue with anything coming out of the extra repository

it seems i have to manually verify that i want to install them, and this can only be done via terminal.

reason for this suspicion is that i had the same issue with personalmenu just now.

looks like it indeed. kinda annoying that app manager treats is as if there is some red pill lib or other that it cant touch, when it should just have shown a yes/no dialog about a unsigned package...

both would be equally uninformative to the user, but at least the last one would not leave you with a uninstallable package...

Installed it yesterday on my 770/OS2006; works perfectly (starts off a little slow, but still OK) except that I hardly got any sleep this night (I just couldn't stop playing).

One thing was mentioned before:
It's hard to quit the app on a 770 running OS2006; you need to press "Home", re-activate it from the task bar and close it with the "x" on the upper right before it goes full screen. My suggestion would be to add an explicit "quit" in either pause or edit mode (not only for the 770, could be useful on all OS-versions).

Yes, some quit dialog on the escape button will be handy

Or some other button since this is used now.

I compiled myself a version for OS2007 from svn, it works fine as far as I can tell.. now to figure out what it can do, I just make balls and things and they fall and roll..

TA-t3's post made me think of something. I know this runs the risk of feature creep explosion, but what about being able to assign material properties? It could be kept simple, like glass, metal, rock, plastic, paper, wood, ceramic and rubber. Imagine the chaos...

Just for that, I hope the developer takes me seriously.
