searcher: don't wait for me to buy one of these keyboards. I might make the purchase this week, next week, or maybe never. I'm actually hoping I can put a small keyboard on my Christmas list...

The problem is that my Bluetooth keyboard, which served me well for almost a year, has recently developed some dead keys.

OH NO I'm not waiting for you, I am trying to get more input, in fact I already placed the order for the mini. I am now trying to figure it out if I can use the adapter that I bought female to female, what do you think?

A F2F adapter, or as some call it, a "lesbie" adapter, will work OK if you install some software to switch your tablet to "USB host" mode. If you want your tablet to automatically detect USB devices when you plug them in, you need an OTG adapter like the ones on jolouis' shop.

that is funny how come I didn't think of it, a lesbo adapter lol.

I ended up buying one that retracts but not sure if it will do what jolouis would do. I guess I'd have to wait until I get it.

As I told you, I already tried the GTec full size rolling keyboard and I had installed USControl then select Hosting and it worked, but now that you sent me the link with the shorter version of connector I think using the cable that came with the Nokia makes it too cumbersome.

The older model they had at jolouis was a half the price. I paid 7.50, oh well. The main thing is that I bought the Mini keyboard they and got it a great price incl shipping so I'm not complaining.

I noticed that jolouis has another adapter that enables to connect the nokia to LAN or any HUB that is very cool. Did you see it? I wonder if I could have a printer connected without installing a driver hmmm.

Printers don't work with the tablet out of the box. The first problem is that there's no "print" command on any of the apps, and the second problem is that, as you mentioned, there's no drivers. In order to get printing, you have to install a huge load of stuff. You've really got to want it.

iirc, one could do printing via bluetooth.

i think my phone has that option related to internal notes.

not sure about any potential limitations tho...

oh well,

I am going off the tread here, but is it possible to attache a memory stick via a usb adapter and copy a document created with the Nokia to the memory stick then plug into a printer or another computer and then get it printed?

Thanks guys

qole,
I just got the mini keyboard it works fine except I need to get used to where the keys are, there is only one shift key on the lf side otherwise I don't have to press too hard to use it.

The keyboard is about twice the size of the Nokia, but bearable
