Any other Emulators out there for WebOS, or Windows mobile?
currently it is free.........
I suspect that in the near future it will become a pay emulator. they have intentional program timeouts right now. you can use the emulator as much as you want but the history has been that the emulator stops functioning about 3-7 days after a new version comes out. I think that they have a date timeout feature built in to the prog and they keep up with their planned releases.

Has been working flawlessly for teh last 8-12 months no crashes with heavy usage and the ability to store the data file off the emulator on the memory card. this make the emulator footprint on the n800 relativily small mine is using only 16 meg of main mem and the data is all out on the internal memory card. I havent noticed any slowdowns......

for comparisson I feel (not having done any stopwatch tests) that the n800 is 25% faster than the lifedrive for changing programs and looking up info from either the reader or epocraties.

My primary motivator is to have a highly portable video chat device so my family around the world can see my daughter growing up. I can chase her around the garden and house with my N900 beaming the footage wirelessly. That's gonna be cool.

SSH remote admin of servers is another useful ability.

I am also into developing GPS application software.

Hopefully I'll do everything I do on my laptop now (except play EvE).

Which reminds me, time to set up irssiproxy and my own xmpp-server...

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

Internet radio in the morning then Corporate stuff .Mail for Exchange, check emails, todo's and calendar. Open office attachments.

check the news sites on the way to work. Stick my entire music collection on the device, 32GB just about does it, but may have to leave a few albums out that dont get listened to frequently.

During the day us liqbase to take notes and doodle in meetings, capturing all that mind matter stuff that flows in a creative moments.

Sykpe the Mrs to tell her I love her and build up some points. (she has skype on her E63 with a free Internet access). That way work dont pay for my personal calls, cause the data plan is bundled.

weekends photos and vids of the kids and family and upto flickr will be cool.

late at night when I cant sleep, the bluetooth headset and a surf to see whats going on in the rest of the world.

What will I do with my n900?

I'll do something that I have so-far failed to do at several attempts.

I will consolidate the information on my PCs, laptop and phone so that I can work seamlessly with all of them.

i would like to play movies stored on another upnp device (popcorn hour) through the n900 hooked up to the tv (lets see if this will work)

use it as a phone , email system and web browser for on the go or on the couch

What will i do with the N900? See if it function in the same way as a PC with the same efficiency and whether it is much easier and convenient to use than a PC. Test out everything...see if the browser is fast or not on
3G and wifi compare to a PC browser. See how good the camera recorder is....and how effective is the GPS system. See if there is an app that simulate the album scroll of the iPhone and see if there is apps for AIM and Yahoo Messenger; how effective is push emails. See how useful the radio transmitter is. See if the screen is responsive or not and if i need a screen protector. Just basically test everything out.
