The new N900 from Nokia- the red pill you've been waiting for!

N900 - red pill form only (but is that accurate? confirm please)

N900 on Tmobile - consider the bar raised (sorry AT&T!)

Your internet, your way- only on the Nokia N900

The N900- even your mother would approve (show some 50+ year old woman checking her Facebook account or similar)

N900 from Nokia - free your mind (yes, another Matrix spin)

Life happens, be prepared - with the N900 from Nokia (highlighting communication, audio/video capture, internet access- could be a wedding, birth, car accident, stuck at airport, etc)

As for Nokia already having slogans/catch-phrases. Yes, it may be true and fine and dandy, but who says they can't take additional angles and spice up/add variety to their ads? Yes, too much variety and you lose your audience- if they wind up seeing too many ads for the same thing but all with different messages, they get "lost" in marketing-speak. Even so, I personally thoroughly enjoy the Geico ads.

Anyone else notice that since the original official N900 announcement and published web site that all their tech/gadget websites *seemingly* have Nokia ads around every corner? Sure they weren't for the N900 but I tell ya, I've seen almost as many N97 web ads in the past month than I've seen login screens at work. (running 4 PCs and administration of roughly a dozen+ day to day)

Heh, and to think some people get paid to think up slogans.

N900 - put your laptop in your pocket.

Should indicate, though, that you don't need fill up with your phone there in addition. So perhaps rather:

N900 - your laptop in your phone

Alternatively:

N900 - On the net on the go!

visual: samsung omnia talking to the iphone

Samsung Omnia: So this other guy: he's a phone like you, right?
iPhone: Not like me. A Nokia N900, advanced prototype.
Samsung Omnia: You mean more advanced than you are?
iPhone: Yes. An Internet Tablet, Finnish custom.
Samsung Omnia: What the hell does that mean?
iPhone: We're f#cked.

(from the terminator)

or:

Samsung Omnia: The N900, can you find a way to destroy it?
iPhone: Unlikely. I'm an obsolete design.

well, these are not particularly slogans.. actually.. :P fun nontheless maybe :P

Ok, daveb started with the visuals, so here are some based on personal experience:

Father and daughter sitting outside on a starry night. Father points to the sky at a bright point of light, and then he holds up his N900 and he shows her a picture of the tiny planet Earth beside the huge curve of Jupiter...

Man in a strange European town, looking lost. He pulls out his N900 and zooms in on a red dot on a map. He taps the screen and the map becomes 3D, with little 3D buildings and everything. He smiles with relief. He walks over to a cafe or something and switches to something like Google Translate, where we see he has translated something like "I would like a bagel" to the local language. The scene fades out with him trying to say the phrase to the shopkeeper.

I've got more, but my thumbs are getting a bit tired on this little keyboard.

N900 - can you ask for more?

(- except of course, USB host, FM receiver and support for Ogg Vorbis)

Uhm, and come to think of it; support should also include FLAC, make it also a DAB receiver, and perhaps also a step counter (or is that something the accelerometers actually can take care of?) - not to mention Java support, - and while we're at it; move the flash LEDs away from the lens to avoid red eyes.

OK, then:

N900 - could you ask for much more?

How about there is this countdown, and people are running around screaming. Its obviously tied to some sort of bomb. People are just going plain nuts. Then the countdown ends, and the box opens to show the N900.

OR

Same scenario, but in the middle of all the screaming, a guy casually walks to the bomb, pulls out a N900, and hacks the bomb to turn it off. Then its like "Nokia N900, it just saved your @ss!"

OR

How about GODZILLA attacking, and a kid pulls out his N900 and blasts some tunes. And then the onedotzero stuff goes everywhere and they all party like its 1999! WOOOOHOOOO! Okay, I really need to do my work...
