I posted this before, but I think it belongs on this thread. A leather case for the N900.

http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Execut...7901058&sr=8-1

While not made specifically for the N900 it should work fine. Cases made for the Palm Treo 600s and 700s will work well with the N900. These are the dimensions of some of those devices:

N900:
4.37 x 2.35 x .77 in (110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm)

Treo 600:
4.41" x 2.36" x 0.87" (112 x 60 x 22.1 mm)

Treo 700:
4.4" x 2.3" x 0.9" (112 x 58 x 22.9 mm)

Treo 750:
4.37" x 2.28" x 0.87" (111 x 58 x 22.1 mm)

Placing the device upside down should allow access to the power button and to the headphone jack without thaking it out of the case. This may hold you up until more N900-specific cases show up.

I'm debating whole thing vs screen too. I'm horrible for dropping phones though - so perhaps whole body would help with floor contact related scratches.

I agree re rubber skins -have one on my Treo 680 - and while it's great protection, it sticks a bit in the pocket, is a bit of a lint trap, and invited the comment "Jeez, that thing looks like a hockey puck". I'd like not to detract from the gorgeousness of the N900, especially when I taunt the iPhone jockeys with it!
I know what you mean. I'm a big fan of Nokia's Communicator series, even had the original 9000 brink, WITH CASE!
The E90 Communicator is the first one I've had without any case at all.

I like the pouch Nokia provide with the N810 - Would be nice if something like this is available for the N900. It's been protecting my tablet nicely when it jacket pockets etc - Can see the LED notification when left on a table. Plus it doesn't really bulk it out and even has ample friction to avoid it slipping out, even shaking it upside down! (Unlike some of those silly ifone cases!!)

I'd love to see something similar for the N900, although I think I'll be keeping mine in it's birthday suit as often as possible!

This may be a good way to keep the N900 clean:

Problem is (for north/south americans) they are in the UK and the review have been terrible (very hard to (re)apply, bubbles, etc...)

I'd rather go with boxwave or a Zagg like one (a less textured one though).

Whisky Tango Foxtrot.

I doubt there is any legitimate research behind this, uhm, "product."

Thinnest bluetooth/stereo headset I've been able to find
If you are thinking about getting that BT. Do your self a favor and look for something else.

1) the battery/power on that don't last.
2) there is no on/off button and once the BT looks up which it does randomly, the only way to reset it is to plug it into the charger. So imagine when you are outside (work) or what ever and it locks up, only way to reset it is to go home or if you have the charger there.

I have go back to sonystore at the mall where i got mine from and the replaced it and the same thing happens. I even had my wife using it with here Iphone and it still exhibits the same problem.... Now it is not being used....
