The version defines only KBD layout and some cellphone/WiFi/FM radio regulatory parameters.

ok well, this is getting really annoying. I just updated my firmware to 51 now. After the update screen problem is back. WTF is this crap.

Can you download FW again - I assume you use flushing bit not over-the-air update, right?

i flashed it back to out of the box firmware with PC then updated the firmware over the air. But as soon as it gets to the firmware 51 the black screen problem comes. As i said in my first post of this topic

I suggest you to download ver.51 firmware again and flush it because it may be a corrupted firmware file...

did that 2 times and does not seem to work. I have to flash it all the way to the FW out of the box and then download it from APP MANAGER and im doing that again. Because when i flash the damn firmware that is 51 with PC it just messes up my LOCK SCREEN and i have used 2 computers.

Oh, wait - you should update to 44.1 from 42-11 FIRST and only after that - to 52! If you do via Appl Manager, of course.

I actually done that and now im trying to last time before sending it to STUPID NOKIA (ALABAMA) from CANADA TORONTO... MAN THIS is making me want to shoot some firmware makers.

Lets see, im going to do it through the APP manager from 42 to 44 now

OK, i have done updating it from 42 to 44 once again. And now it all depends on how the update for 51 goes. I hope 3rd time is the charm. Man I hope this **** goes well. Keep you guys updated
