So apparently any file greater than a certain size can not be accept...but this is just 839kb? It's not that big. I sent one with 126kb and it did receive but the picture is STILL small like thumbnail size.
Seems TMO ignores the x-wap-profile header as I've not seen any hits on the UAProf url from any unknown IP.

From what I've gathered, some carriers doesnt allow MMS over 300kb, which might be what you are experiencing. They should still read the x-wap-profile header and get the information from there though.

Exactly what size is the image when it comes through to your phone?

After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.

Is there any way to set which packet data connection is preferred? I set up a second "MMS" APN using fAPN. It does actually work for normal data too, but is slower than the standard "internet" APN.

Anyway, when I leave a WiFi network my N900 seems to always choose the new MMS APN instead of the original "internet" one. I have tried changing the name of my new "MMS" connection but it doesn't seem to be using alphabetical order.

Is the solution to delete both connections and then set them both up again in fAPN, hoping it will default to the second one I define?

Some other findings.

- Error handling for configuration fields. I could enter text to image width and it was saved to settings.

ATM I'm afraid I don't have a solution for you, I'm playing with the idea of doing what someone suggested a few pages back with "hiding" the MMS APN when fMMS is not active, which should solve it

For those interested in the issue with small images arriving, I'll add the stuff that is discussed at http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/485/21779.html (great forum for all this btw) and see if it works, can't swear I'll push an update tonight but I'll try.

Image is very small...just like before nothing changed. It's like thumbnail size.

And how small is very small? 160x120 or something else?

Either way: 0.2.6 is working its way through the autobuilder, it's now sending "Profile" and "x-wap-profile" header both when sending and receiving MMS, as well as a User-Agent string "Nokia N900 RX-51", if this doesn't change anything I guess the last step is to send a fake user-agent string matching the N95s.. I rather not though :P
