I had some pretty serious stability issues with 0.9.11 and 0.9.12 - apps freezing on startup, and unusually bad battery drain. Both were uninstalled after a few days use. So i'm a bit confused (happily, I should say) that i'm getting consistent, good results from 1.0.0-stable (which according to commits is just a version bump on 0.9.12). I always got the perceptibly better responsiveness on scrolling, general app responsiveness, but now i'm averaging about 10-12 hours steady battery time between charges and not many freak draining incidents.

My not-very-scientific tests with the profiler and comparing results show perceptibly increased average consumption - I would say at least 25% - with more interactive use, which is of course not a surprise. WYou can mitigate this somewhat if you reduce your screen brightness (i'm currently at about 25%, which in most decently-lit places is a reasonable compromise).

All told, great job, keep up the good work! At some point in the future i'd love to see some more technical meat on the modifications that were made.

I Installed version 5. And what I got was what is in the attached pic.

I removed the transitions using the terminal. All is back to normal except for that now I can't get any emoticons in messages and they appear red boxes.

Any Solution?

2) Can that programs work together properly? Without bricks and lags? Or its better to choise some one program?

Namedpacman & torcida,

Don't confuse the names of the two mods; fastern9 is a cgroups mod that modifies system files to speed up some processes by changing its priority while also changing the I/o priority so that generally you get a more responsive/faster device...

Faster N9 Transitions is a transitions mod; it doesn't play with system-level cgroups mods etc but simply those transitions when you click something to the time they transit into your screen are quickened up...For example if the stock transition for opening a conversation is Xms, then faster n9 transitions reduces the Xms to a lower value so the transition doesn't "waste" your time...

Both can be used at the same time without any adverse effects...
