64Gb storage - no microsd slot
micro-sim (like iphone4)
very slim plastic casing (coated with something)

take it with a grain of salt!
and the developer device is worse than that? oh man..

Okay plastic sounds a bit cheap, so lets say „polymer“ instead
According to Dsmobile it indeed got microsim.

Yes, that's totally possible. I just don't know anything about micro-SIM at this device. So I asked where this info comes from..

The people who could leak you information, are people who are working on the product... Which means they do care.

I have to admit that I was rather indifferent about the switch to Qt and MeeGo in general for the most part. But the upcoming device has me positively excited, both as something I want to use myself and as something I can't wait to see what impact it has on the smartphone landscape. If any hype is being generated by this thread, I can assure you that it's justified.

It will not be what many here expect it to be though. It was never a secret that this "step 5 of 5" was intended for the mainstream, and that is bound to ruffle some feathers.

Most importantly, this phone is a lot more than the sum of its parts. So all the talk about this or that spec is somewhat missing the point. If you are just looking for the next high-end collection of transistors to run your own software on, the phone is probably going to be wasted on you.

And where did you got the micro-SIM part from?
Plastic.... hmm.. sort of, but not plastic at all..

edit: I mean, really. If you want to have an idea (not 100%) of how the consumer device looks like.
Take a look at this thing: http://conversations.nokia.com/2010/...ished-concept/

edit2: btw. good morning everyone.
does it have auto lens cover?

Using micro-sim is smart, it's the new trend and existing iPotato users could easily try out the new phone.

Then they might steal some iPotato users disappointed by the WWDC '11 announcement.

So go for it, without having to worry about saving Nokia’s rear end in the next 12 months. I’ve taken off the handcuffs.”

So what then understand from this is that:
- Nokia will use W7 for the next 4/5 years.
- Nokia uses Meego as an alternative option to not become the Bit** of Microshoft. Such as HTC and others are using W7 to hedge their bet on Android.
- After 4/5 years they want to use Meego on high end and W for mid to lower end.
