That's standard on all devices, Minimum is set to 500Mhz when plugged in to USB. And I think the minimum is 250Mhz if plugged into a wall charger.

What do you think is best setting for longer battery life - ideal/xlv ... 250,500,600 lowest freq? I cannot decide ... what are your opinions?

i believe titan's kernel settings all saves a bit of battery life for the reason that it uses lower voltage than stock.

EDIT: lowest freqs would be 500 if you are using the device to fullest or 250 for idle

@titan: your v37 makes video recording stable even at xlv/ulv.

N900: 1000/1150mhz; sampling_rate 15; up_threshold 150000;

I know all titans kernels save battery, I use his and lehtos kernels for some time now ... but Im interested in what other ppl believe to be the best combination of battery life and performance ...

IDEAL should be the ideal setting to use. IMHO

Starving VS Ideal? Though it's also a hot topic of:

underclocking = slower response = more time per action = more battery life spent

vs

overclocking slightly = faster response = less time spent per action = faster use and locking N900 up (full proc idle) = less battery life spent

I'm currently on starving 250-750, and find it's okay for my needs, though it locks up sometimes lol.

Well I never did find kernel-config anywhere in xterm but I was able to change the frequencies using cpufrequi. All I have to say is the n900 at 1.1 ghz kicks major a**

@titan - THANK YOU!
