Told ya.

maybe Nokia thought battery life was too long

42 MB are needed for this 16 MB update - but that isn't mentioned by the update... only here in the wiki entry of PR1.1.1 -.-'
it's just a lack of information - that's why nokia updates suck big time... and please... don't try to be cool... you're NOT! -.-'''
you really are stupid....

I dont even bother replying anymore. But I am so kind that I give you one tip: app manager reports how much it must download stuff, not how much is needed after unpacking&while configuring&reflashing device (yes, the installer also reflashes stuff but keeps user data etc)

ps I am not cool, I am pissed. thread is full of stupid comments from stupid people who have been warned about installing stuff from extras-*. and disclaimer: people are stupid only because they post stupid questions here and dont bother reading two pages back (because of other stupid peoples stupid posts)

Got my update firth thing in the morning in the US (East Coast).

After the update I dont really see any change ... of course I have yet to use it extensively. But update went just fine and no issues at all.

Interesting. I didn't even bother to check my FW version when I first got the phone. So I possibly could have had a UK variant that I've overwritten with the global one.

I haven't had any problems though so I guess I'll wait for a few days for a UK variant to be released otherwise go for the global one again.

Reports so far have indicated that 42M is needed, so you're nearly there. Have you disabled the unnecessary repositories?
